A PRUSSIAN MODEL 1731 FLINTLOCK CAVALRY PISTOL with 14Iin tapering barrel fitted with brass fore-sight, regulation lock stamped 'Potzdam Magaz' and signed on the lower edge, figured walnut full stock with characteristic carving, and regulation brass mounts including escutcheon engraved with the crowned cypher for Friederich (1712- 1786 reigned from 1740), and faceted spurred pommel (the steel parts pitted, the stock with minor chips, ramrod missing) 56cm 22in
